About Me

 My name is Kelly Gammill. I'm a southern gal, born in Rock Hill, South Carolina. I moved to Georgia when I was 4 years old. I graduated from the University of Mississippi where I studied theatre and dance. It was there I learned to sew, although my mom sewed quite a bit of my costumes growing up! While in college, I was required to take costuming. This was such a valuable experience and I gained an appreciation for all the wonderful costume designers and costume builders in our costume shop and beyond. 

  I really began sewing after having my daughter. I just loved making her cute little dresses to wear. It was then I discovered I had a passion for creating. I truly love taking fabric and imagining all the possibilities! It's like a blank canvas.  I transitioned from adorable baby clothes to embellishing costumes for my dancers. 

  Taking an enormous leap, I put myself out there as a dancewear and custom dance costume maker and now I create for others. Nothing excites me more than being trusted with a special costume for that special someone. I just love the idea that all over this great country there is someone wearing a costume or dancewear that I've made! custom dance costumes
